  1. Hey…I saw your post via Google and thought I’d submit the description below.

A start-up social enterprise is seeking a web designer/developer. We have developed a series of children’s books focused on social/environmental issues with an innovative web component. Our goal is to develop a proof of concept for the Website to share with interested investors (a number have expressed interest pending further information and a beta/proof of concept).

The team as it is currently constructed is working pro-bono to launch the effort and seeks an individual who is willing to work in a similar capacity at least for the launch of our Beta. The cycle has been kept very tight given the speed with which we need to develop the proof of concept for interested investors.

Logo and color palette have been determined. Site structure, navigation, and wireframes can be developed by team to streamline process and reduce work by designer. Visual design (translation of the logo) and web development are fundamental requirements.

Core elements of the site will be:
-Public site accessible to the general public and all site visitors
    -Password protected site-requiring login
-Integration with API’s provided by third-parties (to be revealed post NDA)
-Utilization of an Open Source CMS

We’d also ask that you sign an NDA before beginning.

If you want to learn more about me specifically, you can check out a consulting company I recently started: http://www.socialsymmetry.com .

It’s worth a shot, right? You can email me at suneet@socialsymmetry.com.

  2. This is just a historical anecdote. Saw that reply quite late as I had already been called up for national service. Might do something like that again.
